Angiosarcoma
These tumours affect the inner lining of blood vessels, particularly the cells that line the walls of arteries, veins, capillaries, and lymphatic vessels. It can occur in various parts of the body, including the skin, soft tissues, and internal organs.
Angiosarcoma can develop in individuals of any age, but it is more common in adults. The exact cause of angiosarcoma is often unknown, although it has been associated with certain risk factors such as exposure to certain chemicals (such as vinyl chloride), radiation therapy, chronic lymphedema, and certain inherited genetic conditions.
